OhYoung Kwon
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Ohyoung Kwon joined Resurgence Ministry at Chodae Community Church, Norwood, NJ as an intern pastor in May, 2014. He served as a Bible study teacher since 2007 in Resurgence before becoming a pastor. After completing his B.A in Psychology at Rutgers University and M.Ed in Prevention Science and Practice at Harvard University, Pastor Ohyoung continued his studies at Lehigh University for his Ph.D in Counseling Psychology and Alliance Theological Seminary for his seminary training.
Pastor Ohyoung enjoys watching Korean dramas, playing sports, and singing. His ministry passion is counseling people with various psychological issues and guiding them to the joy of knowing Jesus Christ. He currently resides in Fort Lee, NJ.
Pastor Brian Cho joined the Resurgence ministry pastoral team in July, 2014. After completing his B.A. in Economics at the University of Wisconsin- Madison (Go BADGERS!), he resumed his studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he completed his M.Div. and Th.M.
Pastor Brian enjoys watching CNN and the Discovery Channel, eating great food (Bon Chon CHicken!!!), and fishing on the open seas. His greatest passion in life is knowing Jesus and making Him known by preaching and teaching the gospel to both Christians and non-Christians. He currently resides in Fort Lee, NJ with his wife, Jeanne.
